From Classroom Project to Professional Enterprise

A's 3D Prints didn't start in a garage—it started in a classroom!

The foundation of this company was laid as a professional project during my studies at Brigham Young University Idaho.

The initial challenge, set by Professor White in the Professional Projects class, was to develop a personal professional project to help me apply what I have learned throughout my studies and make it applicable to my future career. There were 3 Professional Projects to choose from:

• Work-related project (a project from an employer that went unpaid)

• Service or volunteer project (a project designed to help the community)

• Personal professional development project (a project created to prepare for a future career)

All professional projects needed to have specific goals and outcomes in mind besides the amount of time worked or volunteered.

The success and positive feedback received throughout my semester on the project proposal demonstrated a clear market want and the potential for a viable, professional service. A's 3D Prints is the result of that rigorous academic work, now driven by real-world passion and professional standards.
